Are campuses providing the needed student services to military veterans? Are the vast array of veteran-specific services on campuses a challenge to understand? On behalf of our colleagues at the American Council on Education (ACE) we invite you to be part of the voice of veteran services at an online collaborative brainstorming event (May 3-6, 2010). This event will include veterans and their families, service members, campus leaders, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and others as they collaborate and arrive at innovative approaches to serving returning veterans as they arrive on our campuses.

Join the Veteran Success Jam: Higher Education and America's Veterans from May 3-6, 2010
The Veteran Success Jam is a three-day online virtual collaboration that will bring together thousands of veterans and their families, service members, campus leaders, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies from around the country. Visit the Jam website for registration information!

We have released a new and improved version of the Academic Explorer (AeX - www.mcaex.net) website today. The changes and enhancements have been made to improve the navigation and make it easier for students, counselors and institutions to find the information they need and be able to quickly search for the certificates and programs they are looking for.

We look forward to demonstrating this new "look-and-feel" at the CCME conference in Nashville the week of February 15-19, 2010. We will be in Booth #207. Please stop by and visit with us, as we look forward to talking with you and going over the new website.

We have been preparing for CCME 2010 in Nashville, TN and have been in the process of revamping the Academic Explorer website. All currently participating institutions may now login and visit the Staging environment to view the changes that we have implemented. The new website will be introduced in the Live environment for the CCME conference the week of 15-19 February 2010. The changes were implemented to make it easier to navigate the website and find the information you are looking for. The key change is reducing the amount of text and reading on the site to find information. We welcome your comments and feedback on the new site layout.
