OK, I've selected my school! Now what do I do?...
After completing your educational search, you may wonder what needs to happen next...
That is completely up to you.
If you would like to take the time to do additional research, you can contact the schools
and receive packets of information from them. If you are ready to make your decision,
you can take the search of schools you found and talk your options over with your local
education center.
Go back to the page with the locations of the education
centers. If you are not located at a major Marine Corps installation, you can still call
and speak with a counselor at the location of your choice.
Never fear, even if it’s late, you can choose to call the Navy College Center (NCC) and
speak to a counselor.
The Navy College Center (NCC) serves as the Navy College Program's central location for
receiving and responding to toll-free telephone, electronic mail, fax, and United States
Postal Mail inquiries dealing with all off-duty voluntary education programs and services.
The Center also serves as a hub for requesting the Sailor and Marine Corps American Council
on Education Registry Transcript (SMART).
The call center is open seven days a week, 15 hours a day, staffed by academic advisors,
ready to fill your requests for SMART and answer questions about all components of voluntary
education.
